Jesus humbled Himself and was exalted. Affliction brings you fruitfulness and exaltation.

“And the name of the second he called Ephraim: For God has caused me to be fruitful [parah] in the land of my affliction.” (Gen 41:52)

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (1Pet 5:6)

“The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” (Ps 34:18)

“Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, when He heard their cry” (Ps 106:44)

“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word.” (Ps 119:67)
