You abide in Christ through the gift of His Holy Spirit.

“By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.” (1Jn 4:13)

“who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” (2Cor 1:22)
