You have God’s image

You have God’s image. King Hezekiah was an honorable king. He was described as doing what was good, right, and true. It dawned on me. That describes God. Are you doing what is good, right, and true? If so, you are reflecting the image of God.

How do you become like God in your behavior? Read the Bible. Jesus told us that we are sanctified by God’s word. The word means to be set apart. As we ask Father God to provide food every day, we should also ask Him to forgive our sins. As God forgives you, He cleanses and sanctifies you. The cleaner you are, the more you reflect His image. You will continue to do more of those things which are good, right, and true.

“Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the LORD his God.” (2Chr 31:20)

God is:

good    [tob]   (Ps 25:8; 34:8)

right      [yashar]  (Deut 32:4; Ps 25:8)

true      [emeth]   (Ex 34:6; Ps 31:5)

Today, as you are being sanctified by God’s word, remember that you can reflect God’s image by doing what is good, right, and true.

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” (Jn 17:17)
