You were born again by the Word of God. God’s Word will accomplish what Jesus intends it to do.  

“who wrote on it at the instruction of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And besides, there were added to them many similar words.” (Jer 36:32)

“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” (Lk 4:4)

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Rom 10:17)

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph 6:17)

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (Jn 6:63)

“More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Lk 11:28)
