You gain direction and counsel from the Holy Spirit when you receive wisdom from Jesus.

“A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain [qanah] wise counsel [tachbulah]” (Prov 1:5)
“to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1Cor 1:24)
“to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Col 2:2,3)
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” (1Cor 2:13)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (Jm 1:5)
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” (Jm 3:17-18)

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Eph 1:17)
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Col 3:16)
“Where there is no counsel [tachbulah], the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Prov 11:14)
“Plans are established by counsel [etsah]; by wise counsel [tachbulah] wage war.” (Prov 20:18)
“For by wise counsel [tachbulah] you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Prov 24:6)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (Jn 14:26)
“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” (1Jn 2:27)
