Your godly character is developed through difficulties. Jesus is with you and works everything for your good.

“And we know that all things work together [sunergeo] for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Rom 8:28)

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” (1Pet 5:10)

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing [dokimion] of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (Jm 1:2-4)

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength [dunamis] is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power [dunamis] of Christ may rest [episkenoo] upon me.” (2Cor 12:9)
