God is completing His work in you to conform you into the image of Jesus.

“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [epiteleo=to accomplish perfectly] it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil 1:6)

“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed [summorphous] to the image of His Son” (Rom 8:29)

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2Cor 3:18)

“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” (Rom 13:14)

“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (Gal 3:27)
