Jesus demonstrated humility. Your humility leads you to exaltation.

“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Lk 14:11)
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (1Pet 5:6)
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” (Jm 4:10)
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2Cor 5:21)
“but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” (Phil 2:7-8)
“For I have given you an example [hupodeigma=show under, an example to imitate], that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.” (Jn 13:15-16)
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matt 11:28-30)
