Jesus paid the ransom price for your redemption to bring glory to Him. You belong to God.
“For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
“just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve [diakoneo], and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Matt 20:28)
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable [euarestos] to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Rom 12:1)
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1Cor 10:31)
“to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him” (Col 1:9,10)
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve [diakoneo], and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mk 10:45)
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Thes 5:23)
“Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing [euarestos] to Him.” (2Cor 5:9)
“make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing [euarestos] in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.” (Heb 13:21)
“Nevertheless the solid foundation [themelios] of God stands, having this seal [sphragis]: The Lord knows those who are His” (2Tim 2:19)
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people [peripoiesis], that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous [thaumastos] light” (1Pet 2:9)
“who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession [peripoiesis], to the praise of His glory.” (Eph 1:14)
“to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” (Eph 1:6)
