The Holy Spirit dwells in you as a down payment of your heavenly inheritance. Jesus and the Father make their home in you.

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells [oikeo] in you?” (1Cor 3:16)

“Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously?” (Jm 4:5)
