  2. He came to give rest in the souls of the weary. (Matt 11:28-30)
  3. He came to seek and save the lost. (Matt 18:11; Lk 19:10)
  4. He came to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. (Matt 20:28; Mk 10:45)
  5. He came to release people out from under the authority of Satan. (Acts 26:18)
  6. He came to set sinners free from the lordship and dominance of sin. (Rom 6:2,14,18,22; Jn 8:32,36; 1Jn 3:6,9; 5:18)
  7. He came that those who are dead in sin may have abundant life now. (Jn 10:10; 1Tim 4:8; Eph 2:1,5; Col 2:13; Rom 6:2-4)
