You have the authority of Jesus to defeat the devil.

“And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.” (Mk 6:13)
“Behold, I give you the authority [exousia] to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power [dunamis] of the enemy” (Lk 10:19)
“Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.” (1Jn 2:14)
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (Jm 4:7)
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith” (1Pet 5:8,9)
“to open their eyes, in order to turn [epistrepho] them from darkness to light, and from the power [exousia] of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” (Acts 26:18)
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1Jn 3:8)
“He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Heb 2:14)
“And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” (Col 2:14,15)
