As a disciple, you keep God’s commandments and the faith of Jesus and grow in His grace and love.
“Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep [tereo] the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” (Rev 14:12)
“keep [tereo] yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 1:21)
“but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.” (2Pet 3:18)
“And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus” (1Tim 1:14)
“Now to Him who is able to keep [phulasso] you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy” (Jude 1:24)
“Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.” (2Thes 3:5)
“Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.” (2Cor 13:5)
“That good thing which was committed to you, keep [phulasso] by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.” (2Tim 1:14)
“Behold, I am with you and will keep [shamar] you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” (Gen 28:15)
