God has chosen you for His own purposes.
“who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” (2Tim 1:9)
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit” (Jn 15:16)
“For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” (1Cor 1:26-29)
“So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.” (Matt 20:16)
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt 22:14)
“having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will” (Eph 1:5)
“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.” (Rom 8:29-30)
“for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” (Phil 2:13)
“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (2Thes 1:11-12)
“Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.” (2Cor 5:9)
“make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ” (Heb 13:21)
“For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” (Col 1:9-12)
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” (Matt 25:23)
“And he said to him, Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.” (Lk 19:17)
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jer 1:5)
“He [John the Baptist] will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.” (Lk 1:15)
“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace” (Gal 1:15)
“However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.” (1Tim 1:16)
