God is pleased when you use your spiritual gifts to profit others in a local church.

“But now God has set [tithemi] the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased [thelo].” (1Cor 12:18)

“As each one has received a gift [charisma], minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1Pet 4:10)
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph 4:11-12)
“according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Eph 4:16)
“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” (Gal 5:13)
“Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts [pneuma], let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.” (1Cor 14:12)
