God is pleased when you use your spiritual gifts to profit others in a local church.

“But now God has set [tithemi] the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased [thelo].” (1Cor 12:18)

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all” (1Cor 12:7)

“As each one has received a gift [charisma], minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1Pet 4:10)

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph 4:11-12)

“according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Eph 4:16)

“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” (Gal 5:13)

“Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts [pneuma], let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.” (1Cor 14:12)

“But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” (1Cor 12:11)

“And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all” (1Thes 3:12)

“Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God” (1Thes 4:1)

“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.” (1Pet 4:11)
