God is preparing you for heaven and the Holy Spirit uses trials and difficulties to purify you and exalt you.

“Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.” (2Cor 5:5)

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt [hupsoo] you in due time” (1Pet 5:6)

“that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious [timios] than gold that perishes, though it is tested [dokimazo] by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1Pet 1:7)

“And not only that, but we also glory [kauchaomai=boast] in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces [katergazomai] perseverance [hupomone]; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Rom 5:3-5)

“My brethren, count it all joy [chara] when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing [dokimion] of your faith produces [katergazomai] patience [hupomone]. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (Jm 1:2-4)

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory [doxa] by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” (1Pet 5:10)

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1Jn 1:9)

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses [katharizo] us from all sin.” (1Jn 1:7)

“that He might sanctify and cleanse [katharizo] her with the washing of water by the word” (Eph 5:26)

“So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying [katharizo] their hearts by faith.” (Acts 15:8-9)

“not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing [loutron] of regeneration and renewing [anakainosis] of the Holy Spirit” (Tit 3:5)
