God’s favor and grace inspire thanksgiving and gratitude.

“With favor You will surround him as with a shield.” (Ps 5:12)

“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” (2Tim 2:1)

“For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.” (2Cor 4:15)

“That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works.” (Ps 26:7)

“rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” (Col 2:7)

“The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” (Ps 18:30)

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;” (Ps 28:7)
