Jesus is worthy to be praised because He purchased you by His blood to be God’s possession.

“stood a Lamb as though it had been slain…You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed [agorazo=to purchase] us to God by Your blood” (Rev 5:6,9)

“knowing that you were not redeemed [lutroo] with corruptible things…but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” (1Pet 1:18,19)

“who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption [apolutrosis] of the purchased possession [peripoiesis], to the praise of His glory.” (Eph 1:14)
