The indwelling Holy Spirit provides power, assurance, and the grace of Jesus.

“For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance” (1Thes 1:5)

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2Tim 1:7)
